TADB approves up to 8 billion loans to women and youth in agriculture
The Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has launched a special program of agricultural loans for women and young people which is aimed at meeting the capital challenges for the group by relaxing some criteria and conditions of loans including reducing the interest rate to 8 percent.

TADB Managing Director, Mr. Frank Nyabundege, has said the implementation of these loans will begin and lend to young beneficiaries of various projects and programs for young people and women including the newly launched programme -‘Building a Better Tomorrow’ Youth Initiative for Agribusiness (BBT-YIA).
Whereby TADB will provide loans of up to 150 million shillings to individuals and up to 500 million shillings to groups and institutions formed by these groups.
The program was launched on March 21, 2023, in Dodoma where the official guest of the event was the Honorable Speaker of the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Tulia Akson.
