TADB has conducted an eight-day training to Palm farmers in Kigoma district aimed to raise brand and service awareness, capacity building in business education, finance and credit loan management, as well as teaching them the best production principles in agriculture.
Kigoma is the Tanzania region that produces palms in large quantities where a total of 2,877.5 hectares of the farmers have received soft loans to enable and soften the running of the palm projects and be able to produce more in order to meet local and international market demand
IN FACILITATING THE VALUE CHAIN OF PALM OIL CULTIVATION, TADB HAS ALREADY APPROVED MORE THAN 1.9 BILLION SHILLINGS OF LOANS FOR THE PALM FARMERS.
More than 1,044 members of AMCOS (218 women, 313 youths and 513 men) are beneficiaries of TADB loans in Kigoma region.
