TADB celebrates International Women’s Day #IWD2025

Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank joined thousands of women globally in celebrating International Women’s Day #IWD2025 from 7 to 8 March 2025.


The celebrations were officially launched by the Acting Managing Director of TADB, Mr. David Nghambi, on the 7th March at TADB headquarters. In his opening remarks Mr. David, acknowledge the role & efforts of women in adding value and growth to the bank and life in general as well as cut the cake to mark the celebrations.

TADB Western Zone (Tabora) Staff celebrating International Women’s Day #IWD2025 Tanzania with the Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) of Tabora region.
TADB Northern Zone (Arusha) Office celebrated International Women’s Day #IWD2025 with 20 female farmers from the Oltrumet and Utukufu Maziwa Siwandeti dairy groups at the Galaxy Foods/Kilimanjaro Fresh factory.
To raise awareness among the farmers about the milk processing process, covering everything from collection to the production of quality dairy products.

The culmination of the #IWD2025 is on March 8, which is celebrated worldwide. The theme for 2025 is “Women and Girls 2025: Strengthening Rights, Equality, and Empowerment.” In Tanzania, the event is nationally celebrated in the Arusha region, where the guest speaker will be H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania.
